Canterbury Shaker Village’s outdoor summer concert series continues Sunday with the Mink Hills Band.
With the support of New England Foundation for the Arts, the village will present a wide variety of performances for all to enjoy. From folk to classical, Music on the Meeting House Green offers something for everyone. The village will host 13 summer concerts in a varied lineup, also featuring dance and poetry, culminating in a celebration of the arts for all to enjoy though Sept. 19.
On Aug. 29 at 4 p.m., the Mink Hills Band will entertain audiences on the village’s green. The Mink Hills Band is a five-member, New Hampshire-based acoustic band whose music includes bluegrass, swing, and folk, as well as original compositions. They have been performing together throughout northern New England for more than 20 years.
Suggested donation of $10 per person for each performance. Bring a picnic, bring a chair, and enjoy a series of concerts on the green.
All concerts are subject to cancelation due to inclement weather, but there will be a rain location. Concert cancelations will be updated on shakers.org the morning of each performance date.
