Apple Day in first grade at Center Woods Elementary School in Weare was an apple-themed day of reading, creating, and tasting activities. Students tried three different kinds of apples, learned how to make crockpot applesauce, and ended the day enjoying the applesauce they made with a glass of apple juice.
