■The Masons at 58 South Main Street, West Franklin hosts made-to-order breakfast Oct. 17 from 7 to 10 a.m., and every other Sunday. Mark your calendar ahead for Oct. 31. There are also indoor yard sale items to peruse while you wait.

■The Franklin VNA Foot Clinic takes place Oct. 20 and 27, at the VNA office. Call 934-3454 to schedule an appointment.

■The Franklin VNA will sponsor “Frankenstein’s Haunted Holler” on Oct. 23 in the lower level of the Franklin Opera House from 4 to 6 p.m. Please bring a canned good to donate to the Twin Rivers Food Pantry.

■Give the gift of life at Tanger Outlet Center, Suite 202 on Oct. 27 from 1 to 6 p.m. Please visit redcrossblood.org to book your appointment. Other dates for giving will also be noted if you cannot come Oct. 27.

■The Franklin Bread & Roses Kitchen serves meals on Mondays and Thursdays. The Kitchen is in the Unitarian University Church near the Peabody Home. Doors open at 4 p.m. and meals are served at 5 p.m.

■Karma Korner, the in-school (free) store for students needs school supplies, underwear, detergent pods for the laundry. At this time, the Korner cannot accept any clothing. Shelving for display purposes is needed by Karma Korner. If you or someone you know has shelves they no longer need, please call the high school at 934-5411 to arrange for drop-off.

■Register now at Parks & Rec for the Before and After School Program, the Kindness Club for ages seven to 10, and much more. The Junior Youth Group, (ages 11 to 13) and meets Fridays from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rec Center. Contact Karen at (603) 770-1851 for more information.
