Belmont

Katy Van Cura is the recipient of the New Hampshire Elementary Division Award for the 2021 to 2022 school year from the New Hampshire Art Educators Association. She is described as thoughtful, creative, knowledgeable about Best Practices (as indicated from her involvement in programs such as Performance Assessment Competency Education), and passionate about visual arts learning for her students. She also volunteers her time as part of the leadership team of the NHAEA.

Stasia Bogacz earned a master’s degree in physician assistant science and a minor in American Sign Language from Saint Francis University.

Sadibou Ceesay is a semifinalist in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Jacqueline Chen is a semifinalist in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Jennifer Lewis was named a PGA Helping Our Patriots Everywhere (HOPE) Ambassador following the completion of a specialized training program during the PGA HOPE National Golf & Wellness Week at the famed Congressional Country Club. PGA HOPE is a rehabilitative golf program that positively impacts more than 3,500 Veterans each year living with physical and cognitive challenges such as PTSD, TBI and amputees. Lewis has been with PGA HOPE since 2019 and as an ambassador, Lewis will help champion the program throughout the New England PGA Section.

Ethan Nolet is a semifinalist in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Austin Spain earned a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice, magna cum laude, from Southern New Hampshire University.

Kerrie Russell was named to chancellor’s list for first term at Troy University.

Henniker

Marek Bennett received the NH Governor’s Award For Excellence in arts education in recognition for his “Comics Workshop” programs for New Hampshire schools, libraries, and community organizations. Bennett’s classes guide students in developing their own style and voice, with an emphasis on communication throughout the creative process.
