The Merrimack Valley JV boys’ basketball team (2-1) defeated Lebanon, 45-36. MV jumped out to a 27-10 halftime lead and was able to control the game until the end. The Pride were led by Nolan Beck (10 points) and Hassan Shegow (eight points).
■ The Merrimack Valley JV girls’ basketball team held off a late rally for a 30-26 win at Lebanon. Taiylor Stinson scored 11 points to lead MV. Sam Eiserman (four points, six rebounds), Sangabo Shegow (two steals) and Katelynn Kenney (three rebounds, two steals) had strong games for the Pride (3-0).
The Concord JV girls’ basketball team beat Spaulding, 48-30. Jillian Nailor led the team with 25 points and Makayla Root contributed 14. Megan Gamache and McKinley Tilden scored their first JV points.
Events
Everett Arena public ice skating hours will be Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday hours are from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday hours will also be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission will be $6 for skaters and free for children ages 3 and under.
