Coach’s quote: “Sophia Day and Isabella Sargent both had solid games. We really got ourselves in big foul trouble in the third. Give Belmont credit, they played hard all night. I really thought tonight we took a big step forward with staying with the game plan. Victoria Kelly (seven points) and Triniti Carter (four points) were huge in the fourth quarter when we needed them to be, scoring 11 of our 14 fourth-quarter points. Lauren MacDonald had a great game running the point all night. Between Mackenize Philippy and Lauren MacDonald who both are very capable to run the point Mackenzie picked up her fourth foul in the third and a lot fell on Lauren’s shoulders and she really stepped up. A great team win on the road.” – Winnisquam’s Mark Dawalga
