A pedestrian walking near Rite Aid and Boutwell’s Bowling Center on North Main Street in Concord was struck by a vehicle Monday night and later died, police said.
Both Concord police and State Police responded to the accident, which only involved one vehicle.
Concord police have offered few details about the crash, including the names of those involved, and did not respond to a phone call seeking more information.
“At this time, the identity of the deceased is being withheld, pending further investigation,” Concord police said in a two-paragraph press release.
The pedestrian was taken to Concord Hospital following the crash .
