Despite less snow than anticipated in the Concord area over the weekend, the city declared back-to-back snow emergencies to clear out the downtown sidewalks and parking spots.
Residents who park downtown were asked to leave their vehicles in city garages in order to avoid getting a ticket or towed.
The wind from Saturday’s storm blew dry, wispy snow that piled up in areas but caused little damage because it lacked the weight to snap trees and tear down power lines. Parts of the Seacoast received up to a foot of snow.
