“Public discourse” is now defined by the actions of Trump Republicans on January 6, 2021. It means killing people; injuring people; destroying property; threatening the life of the vice president; putting our senators and representatives in fear of their lives, etc. Interesting and perverse definition of “public discourse.”

When can we expect responsible Republicans to stand up to the tyranny of our former president and his followers? Our democracy has been damaged. Can it survive? That is the question in the next election. Voting for a Trump Republican, including NH state senators and representatives, as well as our congressional representatives and senator, is voting to destroy our country as we know it. Vote for responsible candidates, be they Democrats or Republicans, to preserve our democracy.
