Third-grade students at Center Woods Elementary School in Weare wanted to commemorate the 100th day of school (Feb. 11) in a special way. Their goal was to collect 100 non-perishable items to donate to the Weare Food Pantry. Mrs. Burke’s class did the final count on the 100th day, and the total number of items collected was a whopping 339 for the Weare Food Pantry.
