■Appreciation to all the teachers throughout our district who are and have been stepping up to cover classrooms for other teachers who are unable to be present. This has made it possible for lesson plans to be carried forward and for our students to progress.

■The Twin Rivers Interfaith Food Pantry appreciates donations of non-perishable items (please check the dates, items that have expired cannot be accepted) and recyclable or reusable grocery bags. They can be dropped off Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m., or Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
■Donations are always welcome at Karma Korner, the in-school store for students at the high school. Items needed: hygiene products, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, soaps, laundry detergent (pods please), male and female underwear, sweatpants. Items can be dropped off at the school office.
■Franklin Adult Co-Ed Softball is looking for sponsors for our upcoming season. There are multiple levels of sponsorship, if you are interested, Kyle Kaplan would love to talk with you. Visit: www.franklinadultcoedsoftball.org . Sponsorships range from $200 to $1,000.
■It’s time to register your child for Kindergarten for next September at Paul Smith School. If your child will turn five years old by Sept. 30 your child is eligible. ■Free tax preparation is available at the TRIP Center by calling 211 to set an appointment. The program is ongoing through April 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
