Highlights: Three area teams opened their season on Friday at Souhegan. The Pride were the best of that group, finishing third behind a dominant performance in the sprints by Baylus. In addition to a pair of victories and three top-three finishes, Baylus also ran on the second-plac e 4×100 relay with Jesse Ruiz, Bishow Thapa and Wallace.

Highlights: The Tide won eight of 16 events, including both relays, and dominated the mid-distance and distance events to easily win a three-team meet hosted by Alvirne to open the season.

Highlights: The Division III Cougars finished second in a season-opening meet on Friday at Souhegan against D-II teams. Kearsarge’s 4×400 relay of Ava Valle, Wimer, Ellison and Lefebvre finished second.
