Highlights: The Tide girls showed that they have a very bright future, dominating the 21-team Salem Kiwanis Freshman-Sophomore Meet with 112 points, more than doubling runner-up Merrimack (53). Concord won seven of 19 events and placed in the top three in all four relay events.

Highlights: The Kearsarge upperclassmen competed at the 12-team Stevens Twilight Invitational on Friday night. Plymouth (129 points), Thetford, Vt. (109) and Stevens (89) were the top three teams. Kearsarge scored 38 points and Brady scored one.

Boys’ Track

Concord 21st

Highlights: The Tide scored three points at the Salem Kiwanis Freshman-Sophomore Meet. The 4×400 relay of Aldo Ruelas-Arceo, Anthony Gualtieri, Watt and Ben Hughes had the highest finish for Concord. Pinkerton topped the 21-team field with 80 points.

Highlights: The Cougars finished seventh out of 10 teams at the Doug Sargent Freshman Sophomore Invitational hosted by Keene. Hosts Keene won with 106 points, followed by Hanover (69) and Monadnock (62) in the top three. Kearsarge scored 45 points.

Highlights: The Kearsarge upperclassmen competed at the Stevens Twilight Invitational on Friday night, finishing fourth out of 12 teams. Windsor, Vt. (99.5 points), Lebanon (95), Thetford, Vt. (78), Kearsarge (64) and Fall Mountain (59) were the top five teams. Brady finished 10th with 25 points.

Baseball

Inter-Lakes 3, Bishop Brady 2

Key players: Bishop Brady – Michael Thresher (6 IP, 8 K, 1 ER),Chris Grimbilas (2 hits, RBI), Bryce Miller (2 hits), Andy Hunton (hit, run)

Highlights: The Lakers scored a run in the bottom of the third inning and added two more in the sixth to take a 3-0 lead and held off a Brady rally in the top of the seventh. The Giants scored two runs, but the game-tying run was left stranded on base in scoring position.
