Highlights: The Falcons wrapped up the regular season with a victory at the nine-team ConVal Invitational. Stich, McCranie, Detrio and Owen Boullion formed the winning 4×100, while Falcon teammates Routhier, Bernard, McCranie and Betterley finished second in the 4×400. Bow and John Stark will compete at the Division II championships at Pelham High School on Saturday morning.

Highlights: Area teams competed in the Wilderness League Championship at Belmont High School, a meet featuring 20 teams from the Lakes Region and north. Gilford (109), Newfound (73), Kingswood (56), Plymouth (56) and Bishop Brady (38) were the top five teams. Belmont (27), Winnisquam (24), Kearsarge (23) and Franklin (0) were the other area team scores. The area teams competing wrapped up their regular seasons before Saturday’s Division III championships that will be held on Saturday evening at Pelham High School.

Highlights: The Tide led 2-0 early, but the Panthers came back to take a 4-3 halftime lead and finished off the narrow victory after an evenly-played second half.

Wachter and Taylor were in control from the circle, handing the Grizzlies their first shutout loss of the season.

Highlights: Spaulding scored in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings and a run by the Tide in the top of the 10th wasn’t enough, as Spaulding scored two in the bottom half of the frame to secure the win. Concord trailed 5-1, but answered with four runs in the top of the fifth and went ahead 6-5 in the sixth before Spaulding came back.
