In a recent interview on CNBC, Jared Bernstein, economic advisor to President Biden, suggested that Congress extend the energy tax credit for families installing solar energy panels for their homes. The credit would be 30% of the cost of the equipment.

This sounds good but most citizens are having trouble putting gas in their vehicle and buying food. They do not have thousands of extra dollars to install solar panels. Another Biden policy that will not reduce gas prices.

Biden needs to declare a cease fire on the war against Americaโ€™s oil industry and return to the energy policy Biden received on Inauguration Day. Complete the Keystone pipeline, reduce regulations that make it more expensive to get permits for oil transportation and allow drilling on federal lands. Biden can call it The Biden energy policy.

Kuster knows better. But she will not sacrifice her position on fossil fuels to help citizens spend less on gas and food so citizens can provide better for their families. The price of West Texas Crude has gone from $112/barrel recently to $120 Friday. So, the release of SPR and lowering the gas tax will do nothing to reduce the price of gas or the cost of food. It takes oil freely flowing from American wells that will reduce prices.

If you care about keeping more money for your families, replace Pappas, Hassen and Kuster with people who will lower the price of gas and food.
