■A Canal Street Riverfront Park Community Meeting, co-hosted by the City of Concord and the Penacook Village Association, will be held on June 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the Penacook Elementary School cafeteria, 60 Village Street, to inform residents about plans for the new park. City staff and the landscape architect will share preliminary concept plans and potential park amenities, and this is a chance to share ideas. The landscape architect has worked on Tilton Riverfront Park and Franklin Mill City Park, both of which abut hydro dams like the Canal Street site.

■The Nevers’ Band is back and will be playing on Tuesday starting at 6:30 p.m. at Presidential Oaks (200 Pleasant St.). Bring a chair, your family and a snack and enjoy the concert. For more information, go to neversband.org.

■Enjoy live music with the library featuring Club Soda on Wednesday starting at 6:30 p.m. (on the Prince Street lawn of Concord Public Library). ■Concord Robotics, a non-profit organization supporting the Concord High School FIRST Robotics Competition Team, is holding a clothing Fun Drive. They are currently collecting clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories, belts, backpacks and household textiles including bedding, comforters, blankets, sheets, towels, linen, tablecloths, curtains and pillows in clean and sellable condition through June 25. You can drop off items at their Market Days Booth from June 23 to 25. Home pick up is also available by emailing concordroboticsteam1721@gmail.com. 

■The Concord Hospital  is offering a free Car Seat Fitting on June 23 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Concord Central Fire Station (150 N. State St.) Certified technicians are available to help parents and caregivers ensure their car seat is installed correctly, or to help install a new car seat. ■The PTO has put together a volunteer sign up for the 5th-grade celebration, which is being held on Wednesday. Sign up at volunteersignup.org/PFRLP.

■Join NH Civics for a free viewing of Heidi Schrek’s “What the Constitution Means to Me” followed by a post-viewing discussion led by Nick Capodice and Hannah McCarthy of Civics 101 on June 21 at 7 p.m. at Red River Theatres. ■The Concord One Million Steps for OCD Walk Sunday at 2 p.m., is a place where we can use our voices to share our stories in an effort to fight stigma, raise awareness, and educate our communities about what it really means to have OCD.
