After a 14-3 season and a spot in the Division III boys’ lacrosse championship game, it’s no surprise that the Hopkinton Hawks topped area teams with six All-State pics.

Boys’ All-State lacrosse rosters, as well as boys’ and girls’ rosters for New Hampshire’s Senior Byrne Cup All-Star Game against Vermont, were released to the media on Monday.

Hopkinton seniors Quinn Whitehead (attack), Aidan Burns (midfield) and Eli Standefer (goalie) were named to the Division III First Team, as was junior defender Steven Reddy.

Senior midfielders Josh Duval and Ethan Molnar, and sophomore defender Cam Bassett represent the Hawks on the Second Team.

Elsewhere in D-III, Hillsboro-Deering freshman Paulo Vasquez (faceoff specialist) was named to the First Team, and Bishop Brady senior midfielder Garrett Cerda and sophomore defenseman Josh Lamparelli were selected to the Second Team.

Concord juniors Parker Fredrickson (defense) and Joey Tarbell (midfield) were named to the D-I Second Team.

Bow sophomore middie Gavin McCabe, Pembroke senior attack Gavin O’Brien and Merrimack Valley junior faceoff specialist Nick DeBello were all D-II Second Team picks.

Coe-Brown’s Jay Gallipo was named the Division II Assistant Coach of the Year.

MV senior defenseman Frank Morrill was named an Academic All-American.

Burns was also selected to represent New Hampshire in the Byrne Cup Senior All-Star Game that will be played against Vermont’s top seniors on Saturday in Hanover.

Coe-Brown’s David Lee was also selected for boys’ team, and Bow’s Jess Chamberlin and Hopkinton’s Annie Higginbotham were selected for the girls’ team.
