■A blood drive, hosted by the National Honor Society will be on Oct. 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You must be 16 to donate, have an ID and parental permission. Ages 17 or older just need an ID. The drive is open to the entire community. There will be a vampire theme and cookies, fruit punch and a $5 gift card for donors! Our area is currently undergoing a blood shortage, so donations are very much appreciated.
