The American Cancer Society announced the donation of $50,000 to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of NH from Northeast Delta Dental. With the leadership of Tom Raffio, an Executive Leadership Council member of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of NH, this gift makes a difference to the mission of the American Cancer Society, to support cancer patients and their families.
Since 1993, the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign has united communities, companies, and individuals with a collective goal to end breast cancer as we know it. Over the past two decades, these walks have collectively grown into the nation’s largest and most impactful breast cancer movement – providing a supportive community for courageous breast cancer survivors and metastatic breast cancer thrivers, caregivers, and families alike.
“We are extraordinarily grateful to Northeast Delta Dental for this generous donation, particularly as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Tom Raffio and his organization understand the impact of supporting Making Strides and are truly leading by example,” said Lizzy Givan, Executive Director (New England) at the American Cancer Society.
“I applaud Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of NH for their ambitious goal of raising $1 million this year,” said Tom Raffio, President & CEO of Northeast Delta Dental. “Together we can accelerate research efforts to eliminate the threat of breast cancer as well as support survivors, thrivers, and their loved ones.”
