I can’t just sit here and do nothing any longer. At 85 I can’t go door to door, but I can write. Do you really understand how valuable and important your vote is? It can be the difference of a future living under a fascist government or a democratic government. You might say that is drastic, but look up the definition of fascism. I am sure you will recognize some similarities with sights and sounds surrounding us daily in the U.S.
Hard to believe, isn’t it? It is no coincidence that ‘democracy’ and ‘democrat’ share common goals. I believe a democratic vote on the Nov. ballot from top to bottom will express how we feel about the threat to our freedom. When you cast your ballot think of the future you want for your children and your grandchildren and vote wisely. Spread the word about how valuable and important voting is.
