Storytelling: Behind the Songs
What: A night of local songwriters pulling back the curtain and sharing the stories behind their songs. Known locally from his work as the frontman of indie punk rock band Mallory Weiss, Steven Chagnon is a New Hampshire-based songwriter. Kate West is a New Hampshire-based musician who has been writing and performing music for all of her adult life. The most recent project she can be seen on stage with is the Concord-based Pop-Rock group Girlspit.

The Wind in the Willows
What: Ratty, Mole, and Badger are trying to save their fourth friend, Mr. Toad, from the trouble he gets himself into! With themes of the importance of friendship and acceptance of all, plus funny characters and songs, this show is a must-see for all ages. Presented by the Community Players of Concord NH’s Children’s Theatre Project.

One Man Star Wars
What: Canadian actor and uber geek, Charles Ross, brings his solo madcap creation One-Man Star Wars Trilogy to the stage in this mind-bending whirlwind of a show. Ross retells the classic bad hair trilogy in 60 minutes- no costumes, no props, no sets- all the characters, the music, the ships, and the battles.

Almost Maine
What: Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream by John Cariani.

Dances with Words
What: Richard Lederer and Bill Shipper: Dances with Words combines the talents of best-selling language author Richard Lederer and folk-singing humorist Bill Shipper. Part of the Walker Lecture Series, these two sparring punsters will perform Rich’s educational word fun set to Bill’s original music.
