Gina Cannon is finishing her first term, having gone through a most trying period of upheaval at both middle and high school which we all remember. She has distinguished herself with these challenges with positive and dignified fair solutions. She sits as board secretary elected by board colleagues, where she helps President Jim Richards keep meetings on track, moving forward.
She has worked tirelessly to put forth a new administrative team, a new culture and climate to make our schools better and more inclusive. Her biggest issue now is to work with board in deciding what to do with Rundlett and what can our tax base handle, after this year’s city increase of nearly 5%, the highest in years. Donna and I believe that Gina has crucial experience, a thoughtful, collaborative, consensus building attitude and has earned your continued trust and vote.
