■Holiday Stroll returns this year on Dec. 2 from 3 to 8 p.m. Holiday Craft Village at Franklin Public Library, Santa’s Workshop at Bessie Rowell Community Center, car parade with Santa, Christmas caroling and tree lighting (6:30 p.m.), holiday wagon rides. ■The 10th Annual Festival of Trees, presented by the Franklin Opera House, returns Dec. 2 to 4. Donations of decorated trees, wreaths, wall hangings, gift baskets, and more are welcomed from individuals, families, businesses, and organizations. This free event offers folks the opportunity to purchase sheets of 25 raffle tickets for $5 (buy as many sheets as you like) for a chance to win one of the donated items. The festival takes place on Dec. 2 from 5 to 9 p.m., Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at which time the raffle will be drawn.
