Trump Lies About Hoax
Donald Trump said yet again that the Epstein matter is a Democratic hoax. This is very odd, since he and many who support him previously said all of the Epstein materials should be released. Trump’s FBI director and deputy director both swore to the heavens that they wouldn’t rest until all the Epstein information was released.
I am confused about what part of this Trump thinks is a hoax. Does he think these women, who were girls when they were sexually abused, do not exist? Does he think these women, including the ones who have come forward publicly, are liars? Does he think that these women consented to sex when they were only 15 or 16 years old (and legally unable to consent)? Or does Trump think the hoax part is that the identity of pedophiles simply shouldn’t be disclosed? If so, why? And why is Trump calling Republicans disloyal if they press for the release of all the Epstein materials? Is it the pedophiles who are loyal to Trump?
Yes, you can argue that the Biden administration also failed to release the Epstein information. But that doesn’t change anything about Trump’s failures on this and making it worse by calling it a hoax.
