A 23-year-old man was arrested Tuesday evening after a heated argument inside a Concord home escalated into gunfire.
Dylan Lessard of Loudon became upset during an argument with his mother and siblings over the use of his deceased brotherโs phone, which he believed violated his brotherโs privacy, according to court documents.
Lessard drew a gun from his waistband and initially pointed it at the phone before turning and firing a round into the kitchen floor. He then left the house and drove off in his truck.
He was believed to be intoxicated, according to court documents. There were also two minors in the residence.
Concord police responded to the home around 7:35 p.m. after a family member called 911. He was later located and arrested in Loudon, and his gun was retrieved from his truck.
Lessard is charged with three counts of criminal threatening, three counts of domestic violence, reckless conduct, falsifying physical evidence, criminal mischief, and driving while intoxicated.
Police said in a press release that Lessard was held on a no-bail status and transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections. He was arraigned in court on Wednesday.
