Goodlander, a redistricting poster child
There is no better poster child for redistrcting in New Hampshire than Maggie Goodlander. Goodlander is the latest Democrat to join our all Democrat U.S. delegation (Rep Chris Pappas, and Senators Shaheen and Hassan are all Democrats), in a state that voted 47.8% for Donald Trump. We are no better than Massachusetts in that regard, with Republicans totally disenfranchised in the U.S. capitol.
And what is Goodlander doing now that she is in office, having used districts full of urban, news-resistant, governemnt check dependent voters to beat Lily Tang Williams? In her first term, Goodlander’s two signature positions included first being a major supporter of the recent government shutdown, holding our federal government hostage to expand Obamacare spending to AGAIN supercharge national inflation. Then, she joined other Democrat congressmen this week in calling for U.S. troops to defy the orders of Donald Trump, casting partisan aspersion upon said orders. As a combat veteran, brother of a combat veteran, and son and grandson of combat veterans, I found this deeply offensive.
It is time for Governor Ayotte to show us some political courage and redistrict our states so that Nashua and Manchester do not choose our congressional and senate delegates every other year, Granite State values are 100% AWOL in Washington D.C.
