Disappointed in my Reps

We had six courageous U.S. representatives, formerly military, stand up for the rule of law. Their video states a fact that no member of the armed forces is to carry out an illegal order. Members of the military swear an oath to uphold the Constitution, plain and simple, and one they do not take lightly.

Since airing, the president has called their actions seditious and that they should be tried, convicted and hung. This rhetoric has resulted in bomb threats here in Concord and death threats via email, phone and social media. The minions that work for him are using the DOJ and the military courts to investigate their actions. Even as they go through this exercise in futility, because nothing said was illegal, they will have to spend money defending themselves. The threats are designed to send a message to everyone that you too could be subject to harassment because you arenโ€™t falling in line.

Iโ€™m disappointed in the New Hampshire representatives and senators that they have not come out with a strong message supporting these individuals and condemning the actions of the president. I am also disappointed in our state leaders for not speaking up as well. I canโ€™t believe they agree with the president. If they do then weโ€™ve got the wrong people in office. Get out your copy of the Constitution and the military code. I think youโ€™ll find the ones speaking up are on the right side of law.
