Elizabeth “Bette” Mason

Belmont, NH – Belmont, NH – Elizabeth “Bette” Mason, born January 4, 1947, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Concord Hospital.

Bette was born in Concord, NH, the daughter of the late John Morin and Florence (Drouin) Blake.

Bette and her late husband owned and operated M&M Trucking. For many years they traveled across country together. Bette enjoyed crafting, including stained glass, ceramics, home projects and woodworking. She loved sightseeing on the Harley and enjoyed going to places (too many to name – Sturgis was a favorite).

Bette had a very kind, non-judgmental and supportive way about her which attracted many friends. She was a family person through and through. She was happiest when visiting and laughing with her family and friends. When she wasn’t out having fun, you could find her at home working in her yard and relaxing with her dogs she loved so much.

Bette was predeceased by her husband Michael Mason; and her grandson, Robert Richard.

She is survived by her three daughters, Leanne Lavoie of Lincolnton, NC, Angela Pueblo (Todd) of Belmont, NH, Marcey Mason (Christopher Labonte) of Milford, NH; her son, Matthew Lavoie (Brenda Roukey) of Biddeford, ME; her sister Linda Corriveau (Edward) of Barnstead, NH; five grandchildren, Joshua Mullin (Sherry), Matthew Lavoie (Anna), Nicolas Lavoie (Marissa Calachino), Summer Silkman (Isaac Kipp) and Kaleigh Groch (Joseph); as well as her niece/Godchild Vikki Nolin (Armand) and numerous great grandchildren.

A memorial visiting hour will be held on Monday, April 27th from 10 AM to 11 AM at Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.

A memeorial service will follow at 11 AM in the Chapel at Waters Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bette’s memory to the Pope Memorial SPCA, 94 Silk Farm Road, Concord, NH 03301.
