Merrimack Valley hosted five other schools for a track meet on Tuesday that narrowly avoided a rainout and saw Lebanon dominate.
Despite not finishing first as teams, Bow, Pembroke, Bishop Brady, and Merrimack Valley all had big individual performances that signaled what’s yet to come. Lebanon’s boys and girls won overall, and Saint Thomas Aquinas had competitive performances to push the rest.
Bow senior Charlotte Larochelle won both the long jump and javelin in an impressive show of versatility. The Pembroke Spartans’ Brandon Lurvey also proved himself adept with a first-place finish in javelin, the 200 meters and the 4×100-meter relay.
