One-sided education
Regarding the My Turn article on 5-15-26, pertaining to Palestinian mistreatment, the writer states, “Get the word out about Israel’s founding and apartheid.”
I wish he did get the word out, but he did not. In 1947, the United Nations voted to create the State of Israel and a Palestinian State, with Jews accepting the plan while five Arab nations — Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq rejected the plan and went to war with Israel. Israel won the war. Over the years, peace plans have been offered to the Palestinians, however, they have not accepted the plans and their goal is to destroy Israel.
