A lifelong commitment
Respect your elders, respect your children. Respect your life, respect the people around you, respect yourself. It’s okay to be this way. It’s okay to run and play, it’s okay to open the door, it’s okay to say much more.
When you make a person happy, you inspire them to be okay, not to let them fall, not to let them run away, to make a better decision about what it could be. When you make a decision about your life and you want to make it right, do you consider your own opinion or recall the opinions people have about you? Respect everything. Without respect, you can’t get respect. You can respect one another, give to one another, respect boundaries, respect beliefs, and give advice and what they need. Respect me and I’ll respect you. I’m just trying to make it through life without letting disrespect happen. I’m trying to make it right.
In the middle of the night, when I’m sitting by myself on a street corner, walking down the street, sitting by the river listening to the water flow and birds chirping around 5:30 in the morning, with the sound of traffic on the highway and people chatting, cheering, and arguing, the life of the world is in the people and the sounds around me. I hope everything goes well with you. I love God. Believe in yourself; if you don’t believe, you won’t get through it. Give yourself a chance to have faith in yourself.
