Your choice
Pundits say the race to become New Hampshire’s U.S. Senator is between John Sununu and Chris Pappas. Neither has secured his party’s nomination. That will be decided by New Hampshire voters on Sept. 8. Important questions are, “How do I vote in the primary?” and “Who will I vote for?”
Only a registered New Hampshire voter can vote. You can check your current registration status by visiting the New Hampshire Secretary of State Registration Deadlines page or by contacting your local City or Town Clerk’s office. In the primary election, the voter receives the ballot for their party affiliation, Democrat or Republican. Any registered New Hampshire voter who wishes to change their party affiliation before this year’s primary must do so by June 3.
There are not just two choices on Sept. 8. Consider voting for Karishma Manzur for the Democratic nomination to the U.S. Senate. She holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology and spent over 20 years working on treatments for neurological diseases. She came to realize that millions of Americans will never benefit from this vital work because they can’t afford basic health care and, instead of investing in health care and other vital services, our tax dollars fund militarism, endless wars and a ballooning deficit. Unlike other candidates, Krishma rejects PAC money. She can serve all of us, not special interests.
You can meet Karishma at the Concord Community Center at 14 Canterbury Road on Thursday, June 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
