Maura Sullivan for Congress

As someone who has spent 23 years in law enforcement and nearly three decades teaching civics and government, I have learned that leadership is revealed by the choices people make when faced with difficult challenges. That is why I support Maura Sullivan for Congress.

Throughout her life, Maura has consistently chosen service over self-interest. She joined the Marine Corps and volunteered to deploy with her unit to Fallujah, Iraq. Later, when serious problems at the Department of Veterans Affairs left veterans waiting too long for care, she stepped up to help improve healthcare for millions of veterans.

What stands out to me most is that Maura understands the challenges facing everyday people because she has lived them. She worked multiple jobs while attending college, served through the ROTC program, carried student loan debt, and experienced many of the same financial pressures that young people and working families face today.

New Hampshire voters have a long tradition of looking beyond party labels and judging candidates by their character, their record, and their willingness to serve. By that measure, Maura Sullivan stands out.

New Hampshire deserves a representative who understands sacrifice, has demonstrated a lifetime of service, and will fight for the people she represents. I believe Maura Sullivan is that leader, and I am proud to support her for Congress.
