Rep. Jim McGovern, Democrat of Mass., is a hero
Not all Republicans are living out DJT’s ego-driven plot to take down democracy. The good ones in our D.C. government are retiring out of office or “being primaried” by our fealty-demanding (king-like) President. Meanwhile, good Democrat, Massachusetts Rep. Jim McGovern, exposes the lame accusation now coming out of our semi-wrecked White House that Democrats are “communists.”
Who is communist if not the party that “worships one man above the Constitution?” Republicans who ally with Trump call the free press “enemy of the people” and stick the Justice Department on journalists they don’t like. These are communist tactics right out of Russia! Putin and Trump can shake hands! Now Nicaragua President Daniel Ortega is joining that club, who won’t allow fair and free elections. Of course, in typical communist-style rhetoric masking the bad with pleasant words, Trump labels his anti-fair elections bill the “Save America Act.”
From Rep. Jim McGovern this week: Democratic party ideals are to love this country “enough to fight for it,” fighting for affordable rent, medical care, childcare, food. “We will not be lectured by a fascist Republican Party that offers American people nothing but lies, fear, endless culture wars, and tax breaks for billionaires.” Now, my words: his and Netanyahu’s unnecessary war coming of DJT’s ego-need is extremely costly to us all in terms of money, lives and international respect gone down the tubes.
