Meg Hagaman for County Attorney
I worked with Meg Hagaman for several years and admired her work ethic, her trial preparation and skills, and her written and oral advocacy. It is an honor to now write a letter in support of her candidacy to become the next Merrimack County Attorney.
Meg’s career has not only been impressive, it has thoroughly prepared her for the role of County Attorney. About half her career has been spent serving in county attorney offices in the Granite State and the other half has been serving in critical roles at the New Hampshire Department of Justice. She worked her way up the ranks, ultimately becoming Chief of the Criminal Justice Bureau at NH DOJ where she managed the demands of criminal prosecutions statewide and supervised more than 60 employees. I watched her work well with a wide variety of people and never lose sight of the goal: do justice for the citizens of New Hampshire.
Meg has since returned to her county prosecution roots with a desire to not only lead the team at the Merrimack County Attorney’s Office but to be an everyday resource for her colleagues and community partners.
My career as a state and federal prosecutor spanned 35 years, and I had the privilege of serving with many outstanding trial lawyers. Meg is among the very best of them. She always gives her utmost, and I applaud her commitment to public service. Cast your vote for Meg Hagaman in the Republican Primary on Sept. 8.
