Washington, NH – Sharon Otterson of Washington, New Hampshire passed away peacefully in her home on August 1st 2026.
Sharon grew up and spent her childhood and teenage years in Newport NH before attending Keene State College to get a degree in teaching. In her career she was a teacher and principal across multiple elementary schools in New Hampshire.
Outside of work Sharon found joy in gardening, baking and sewing. Nicknamed Roxy by some, she often enjoyed making homemade bread or sewing up holes in her grandchildren’s pants. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother and friend whose love had no end.
Sharon is survived by her children Kris and Katie, her grandchildren Dalton, Ryan, and Alex. She is proceeded in death by her husband George who passed back in September of 2025.
