Concord police have identified two women who were found deceased in Concord a day apart earlier this month.
Bridget Watson of Concord was the 51-year-old found deceased in her tent near the city’s transfer station off Old Turnpike Road. Watson was discovered found unresponsive by a friend a little after 11 p.m. on August 14, Concord Police said.
The following evening, a passerby in a Fort Eddy Road parking lot noticed Nicole Canning of Concord unresponsive in her vehicle, according to Concord Police. The 48-year-old died of a sudden medical episode, and firefighters reported her deceased upon their arrival. An obituary noted that Canning, who spent much of her life in Allenstown, had been “living with an illness for several years.”
Despite their proximity in time, the two cases are not related and are not considered suspicious, per Concord Police Chief Barrett Moulton.
