Meg Hagaman is the real deal

Meg Hagaman is the real deal, and I’m not just saying that because I married her and she’s the mother of our two young children. I’ve witnessed every chapter of Meg’s career, and I know she should be our next Merrimack County Attorney.

She is consistent, reliable, diligent and trustworthy. Meg treats each victim, each case, each colleague, each partner in the criminal justice system with the same professionalism, thoughtfulness and kindness. I’ve seen it during midnight callouts to homicides and even when she takes a phone call from opposing counsel or a fellow prosecutor.

I’ve seen on display in Meg’s campaign — her first — the same genuine, heartfelt pursuit of justice, matched with impressive experience as a criminal prosecutor and administrator, during each conversation and at every parade, Old Home Day and event.

Politics can get divisive and cheap, yet she pushes aside rhetoric and talks about the needs of the community and partners in the criminal justice system. Without focusing on other candidates, she conveys the importance of the county attorney role and leadership for the office, as well as her ability to do the job well. And she leaves it all out on the field.

The support you see for her is well founded, and it’s reinforced by a selfless and exemplary, New Hampshire-based career in which Meg has built strong relationships and walked shoulder-to-shoulder with others. That’s the kind of leader we need as County Attorney and serving in elected office.
