Bow, NH – Nancy (Mooney Moynan) Boucher, 71, of Bow, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 30, 1955, in Burlington, VT to Winston and Elizabeth (Moynan) Mooney, Nancy lived a life defined by love, compassion, faith, and an unwavering commitment to the people she cared about.
Nancy’s world centered around her family. She strived to be the very best daughter, wife, mother, MumMum, sister, aunt, and friend she could be. In every one of those roles, she was an overachiever. She loved deeply and made the people in her life feel cared for, supported, and loved.
Nancy leaves behind her husband of 51 years, Mark Boucher; her daughter, Rebecca Capo (John Oldach); her son, Curtis Boucher (Laura Stephens); her grandson, Derek Capo (Jaelyn); her brother, David Mooney (MaryBeth); nieces, Liz Mooney (Matt Doup and daughters Maya and Naomi) and Kyla Mooney; and nephew Liam Mooney, the “Lancaster Crew”, Bob Martin (Barbara), Squirrel Martin (Helen), Nancy Sanborn (David) and their families. She also leaves behind her beloved cousin, Lee Cox, whom she considered more like a brother, dear friend Julia Gilbert, as well as her treasured dog, Cherokee, and cat, Sophie.
A funeral service will be held at Bow Mills United Methodist Church on Thursday, September 10, at 1:00 p.m., with a luncheon to follow.
