Trump’s disregard for our military’s sacrifice

President Trump lifted sanctions against Russia, who is giving military aid to Iran. “Russia has begun sending Iran upgraded munitions, satellite imagery and targeting data used against American forces in the Middle East,” according to defensenews.com

Twenty-one U.S. service members have been killed and 865 have been wounded in a war Trump started without the approval of Congress. Trump said of the war, “It’s small potatoes for us. It’s not a big thing.”

The Republican Congress and Senate have the ability to stop the war, but have instead bowed to their leader Donald Trump. As a veteran who’s been put in harms way for his country, Trump’s MAGA Republican Party offends me and I’m sure it offends most of you as well.

John Sununu was endorsed by Donald Trump and we can expect him to perpetuate Trump’s disregard for the lives of our troops. If Sununu were a serious person, he’d reject Trump’s endorsement and publicly oppose the war. But he won’t now and he won’t if elected. Chris Pappas has repeatedly voted for resolutions directing the removal of U.S. forces from hostilities with Iran.

We need change in both Washington and Concord. Whether you’re a Republican, Democrat or Independent its time to put America’s democracy first and vote Democratic in 2026.
