Get to know David Trumble

I went to Antrim last night to hear David Trumble debate his GOP opponent for NH Senate District 8. He is articulate, compassionate and incredibly knowledgeable about the issues. District 8 encompasses 20 towns, including Weare, where both David and I live.

Do you know him? Perhaps you have visited his beautiful organic farm. Maybe you or one of your kids was on the St. A’s debate team where he has coached for over 40 years. If you live in Weare, you may remember David coaching the Lego team or jump rope team when his kids were in school. Maybe you know him from UNH Law. Perhaps you or someone you love benefitted from the NH Mental Health Law Clinic he started.

If you follow the goings-on at the State House, you surely heard him testify on a variety of issues ranging from education to human rights. He was always well-prepared with the facts and figures surrounding each issue and offered common sense solutions.

Have you met him in person or caught one of his debates? You can find a 10-minute spot on WMUR that will give you an idea of how he approaches the issues.

David cares deeply about this state and its future for the next generation. In his closing statement at the debate he said, “Community is the essence of this election.” My husband and I are proud to know David Trumble and hope you will vote to elect him to the NH Senate.
