Francis E. Sheehan Jr.

Concord, NH – Francis was born on March 10, 1935, in Springfield, Massachusetts. In the late 1970s, he moved to New Hampshire, where he built a life centered on family, friendship, and simple joys. He spent his career in the printing industry and worked for many years at Concord Litho in Concord, NH. On October 18, 2026, at age 91, he passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by those he loved.

He was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Ann of Springfield, Massachusetts, as well as his siblings Martha Hamel, Thomas Sheehan, and Roberta Pannucio.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene; his sons, Scott, Todd (and his wife Dorothy), and Kevin (and his wife Samantha); his granddaughter, Savannah; and many nieces and nephews.

Francis was a man of few words, yet he had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome. His warm presence, sense of humor, and quiet kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He leaves behind cherished memories of laughter, family gatherings, and the small, meaningful moments that brought people together.

One of Francis’s favorite sayings, “It’s for the kids,” captured who he was-someone who believed in doing good for others and bringing joy to the next generation. Those simple words reflect the heart of the man and will continue to echo in the lives he touched.

Francis reminds us that life is not measured by what we accumulate, but by the love we share, the memories we create, and the kindness we offer to others.

A graveside service will be held at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH, on Wednesday, November 4th at 12 noon.

Rest peacefully, Francis. You were loved, you will be missed, and you will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Granite State VNA, 30 Pillsbury Street, Concord, NH 03301,and we would like to thank than for the skilled and loving care they provided Marlene and Fran.
