A 60-year old Pembroke man was found by a state biologist late Wednesday morning at Bear Brook State Park after spending the majority of the night injured and crawling through the woods.

Levi Parry, 60, went on a hike about 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to New Hampshire Fish and Game, starting at the Bear Hill Ponds Camp in Allenstown. Parry became disoriented after about an hour of hiking, and didnโ€™t have a cell phone to call for help or a flashlight to help him navigate when the sun set, a report said.ย

At one point, Parry fell, injured himself, and couldnโ€™t get back up, Fish and Game said. He crawled through the woods until morning, when a Fish and Game biologist, studying turtles near the corridor 15 snowmobile trail in Hooksett, reported finding him about 11:45 a.m. Parry was transported to a hospital.
