Police: Concord death not deemed suspicious

The death of a person found early Saturday morning near the Water Street bridge in Concord is not considered suspicious, police said Monday.

Deputy Chief Keith Mitchell said an autopsy was completed; however, toxicology tests are still pending, and the results may not be known for several months.

Mitchell declined to identify the person, who was found lying alongside the railroad tracks on a snowy path near Exit 13 off Interstate 93. He said the department generally does not name people who die of an overdose, in a suicide, or of natural causes; they do so if a crime occurred.

However, friends and family identified 25-year-old Kai Lloet as the person found this past weekend near Concordโ€™s Water Street bridge.

โ€œHe was very extroverted, always happy, and he touched so many people. He touched so many lives,โ€ Ainsley Croteau, a friend of Lloetโ€™s, said in an interview.

She said Lloet had moved to Concord less than a year ago. Lloet is originally from Peabody, Mass., according to his Facebook page.
