JV results

The Bow JV baseball team rallied for a 10-8 win against Oyster River. The Falcons loaded the bases in the sixth inning and erupted with six runs, highlighted with two-run hits by Brian Carter and Connor Lee. Nick Aubrey pitched two innings in relief for his first high school win. Lee earned the save and Aubrey made a diving catch in right field to end the game.

Lucas Berube scored two goals with an assist and Ben Tobeler had one goal and an assist for the Bow JV boys’ lacrosse team in a loss to Winnacunnet.

Youth baseball

Pizza Man Storm defeated the Bow Auto Parts Bulls, 13-9. Peyton Larrabee led the Storm with multiple hits. Josh Roos pitched well for the Bulls.

Youth lacrosse

The Concord Crush U8 Orange boys’ team lost to the Nashua Blast Purple team, 14-1. Spencer Clemans had the lone goal for Crush. Grady Brown and Corbin Scott combined for 15 saves in net. Hayden Erdinger blocked one shot on goal.

The Concord Crush U10 girls’ team lost to Derry on Sunday, 10-5. Emma Pelletier, Gracen Arndt and Emma Burnett provided the offense. Maddie Short and Penny Brown played well in the field.

College standouts

Bow’s Andrew Attorri, a senior on the Union men’s track and field team, ran a season-best time of 10:52 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing seventh at the RPI Capital District Classic. Union finished fourth as a team.

Loudon’s Warren Bartlett, a junior on the Plymouth State University men’s track and field team, was part of the Little East Conference’s Relay Team of the Week, along with teammates Sam Brunnette, Noah Byington and Kyle Saunders. The quartet broke the LEC and Plymouth State 4×800 record, clocking a 7:55.4.

Winnipesaukee Muskrats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League are looking for local families to host players for the upcoming summer season.
