■The Masons (Meridian Lodge across from the Congregational Church) return to offer made-to-order breakfasts every other Sunday from 7-10 a.m., starting this week. Shop at the indoor yard sale as well.
■Franklin Area Children’s Theatre (FACT) summer camp starts Monday and runs through July 29, culminating in a performance of “Get Up & Go” on July 29. Visit franklinoperahouse.org for details and to register.

■The Franklin Democratic Committee meets on the second Tuesday of the month. This month’s meeting will be on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Visit the group’s Facebook page for the link to the Zoom meeting.
■The Farmer’s Market at Marceau Park is every Thursday from 3-6 p.m. and runs through the end of September. SNAP, EBT, debit and credit cards are accepted. Concerts in the Park will run on Thursdays through the end of August from 5:30-6:30 p.m. This week, Franklin Opera House and Watts Water Technologies present Sweetbloods. Bring a blanket or folding chairs. Food available from Buffy the Hot Dog Slinger and Vulgar Brewery.
■The Thrift Clothes Closet will be open Thursdays until 7 p.m. throughout the summer to coincide with the activities at Marceau Park (Farmer’s Market and concerts).
■The Franklin Opera House Celebrity Waiters Dinner, usually held in the fall, has been changed to “Aloha – 2021 Celebrity Waiter Cookout and Auction,” scheduled for Aug. 26 at Mojalaki Country Club. ■The TRIP Center on Rowell Drive is in need of plastic grocery bags. Bring your donations on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call 934-4151 with any questions. Pick up the July newsletter to see what is planned. The TRIP Center also offers takeout meals on Mondays and Thursdays. The following activities have also returned to the TRIP Center: chair exercises (Tuesday and Thursday), bingo (Tuesday and Thursday), cribbage group (every Tuesday). Keep Movin’ hopes to begin in August. Line dancing will start in September.
■Franklin Parks & Recreation is looking for seasonal workers for its summer programs. Help is specifically needed to clean up the beaches (raking, etc.). Enjoy the outdoors at Franklin’s beautiful beaches. Workers are needed through Aug. 30. Call 934-2118.
