Unnecessary danger

I live in East Concord. I have a choice of route to Downtown Concord. Getting on 393 from East Side Drive requires great caution and defensive driving. It is not enough. Suddenly, at high speed, there is a car, its driver hellbent on getting to the lights at South Main. Another close call and thoughts of “what if.”

The reasons for this danger are many. At the heart of it is a disregard for anyone else. We all have aggressive tendencies. They are becoming an accepted way of navigating life.

Please slow down. Make way for your neighbor.
