Along with the NHTI women’s soccer team’s run to the national championship, many of the school’s athletes received recognition for their success this fall.

The Lynx’s menโ€™s cross country team won a second-place title at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) national championship โ€” its best finish in school history.

Eli Lemire, the defending individual national champion from Weare, was named a member of the USCAA All-American team.

โ€œEli has really been an inspiration to us as a team all year and is the caliber of athlete that rivals, and in some metrics surpasses, some of the best we have ever had at this school,โ€ said head coach Graham Hayslip. โ€œI am looking forward to seeing what he can accomplish in the Spring.”

NHTI hosted the Yankee Small College Conference womenโ€™s volleyball regional championship. The Lynx team finished runner-up with Emma Bernard from Barrington being named the tournamentโ€™s Outstanding Offensive Player.

The Lynx menโ€™s golf team had another strong performance at the USCAA championships. Bishop Brady graduate Aiden Boule finished in third place and was named a First Team All-American, while Hopkinton’s Bronson Ammann was named National Long Drive Champion.

The NHTI basketball teams have started their seasons, as well. The men’s team will look to improve on its 5-16 record from last season, while the women’s team tries to right the ship after a 2-12 finish last year.
