Kerry L. Caswell

Kingsville, TX – Kerry L. Caswell, born on August 8, 1954, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 71.

Words can not fully express our sadness in sharing the passing of Kerry. Kerry was a proud graduate from Concord High School in 1972. In 1977, Kerry went on to graduate from Texas Tech University, where he participated in the ROTC program. Following graduation, he served honorably in the United States Air Force for 14 years, first being trained as a helicopter pilot and later qualifying as a fixed-wing bomber pilot. Kerry was a veteran of the Gulf War I, serving his country with distinction, professionalism, and courage.

After his military service, Kerry continued his dedication to aviation and training. He worked for Fidelity Technologies in Kingsville, Texas, for over 20 years as a flight simulator instructor, where he trained U.S. Navy pilots. His expertise, patience, and commitment earned him the respect of colleagues and students alike.

Kerry is survived by his loving wife, Sherry L. Caswell. He was the devoted father of four children, Morgan Forbes (Scott), Corey (Kristi), Brett, and Ryan, whom he shared with his first wife, Diane Westgate (nee Corliss). He is also survived by his brothers, James, David (Paula), and Robert (Lex) Caswell, along with his sister, Sandra.

Kerry will be remembered for his service to his country, his passion for aviation, and his dedication to his family. His legacy lives on through the many pilots he trained, the missions he flew, and the lives he touched.
