Vote Nate Giffard on Nov. 3
In a few weeks, Ward 6 has the opportunity to send a strong, competent and values-driven young professional to represent us in the state legislature. Nate Giffard believes in high quality and well-funded public schools, growing a housing market with enough supply to meet demand, building a social safety net we can count on during tough times and promoting equal opportunity for everyone to succeed at building a life in Concord.
Nate has deep roots in this area, having grown up in a working-class family in Concord. During my first year representing Ward 6 on the city council, I have learned a lot about this constituency, and I know that his particular lived experience and knowledge of our community will serve him well in serving us.
We are grocery clerks, Uber drivers, restaurant servers, childcare professionals, manual laborers, house cleaners and public servants. We are parents and caregivers. Some of us are just starting out, and others are getting by in retirement on fixed incomes. We are also 75% renters — Nate and myself included — and I believe renters’ voices are critical to involve as we address this housing crisis.
I am confident that Nate won’t shy away from advocating for us and our needs at the State House, and I trust him to work collaboratively with municipal-level officials in our shared goal of addressing the affordability crisis. I am proud to be able to vote for him for state representative this November. To learn more, visit Nate4NH.com.
